RAPHAELE SHIRLEY
-
Raphaele Shirley, a French born artist who moved to New York City in 1993, creates immersive installations that incorporate neon, sound and lasers to manifest an intangible presence. Shirley’s work engages the viewer in contemplations of totality, the oscillation of time in infinite space. Her practice ranges from sound and light art, collaborative pieces and performances, social interventions and other public works.
