WON

HA

Won Ha's work, like the work of her father, Ha Dong Chul, has themes of light and waves, which are tied to energy and the essence of nature. While Dong Chul Ha pursued the image of light on two-dimensional works, the work of his daughter Ha Won exposes three to four dimensions in various forms of sculpture, installation, and video. These works of hers are based on time and space. Her light installation work especially provides the experience of space to their viewers as they move in front of her work. For this reason, a key part of her work is subjective relativity rather than objective absolute, the process of change rather than one strict form.
